This design should showcase a three dimensional character while following a unique, cohesive, artistic style.

This design should showcase a full story, from start to finish, while following a unique, cohesive, artistic style.

Students will use their combined knowledge of character design, figure drawing, one point perspective, typography, and use of reference to draw one comic book cover. They will choose any already existing character or story. This design should showcase either one character or group of characters while following a unique, cohesive, artistic style.

Students will apply everything they've learned in this class to create their own comic book. This project will begin with developing an original story and writing a script for Issue #1 of a potential series. Their comic should reflect their unique ideas and storylines, and they are free to choose any artistic style—from cover design to panel layout.
